EU Cattle-as per EU Management Plan. ******************************** Prime Sales - Weekly on Wednesday @7.30am - local, butchers, northern NSW and QLD buyers in attendance Store Sales - most Fridays @11.00am - book through your preferred agent. Local and interstate buyers in attendance Stud Sales - Annually - Charolais, Whiteface Bull Sale, Angus/Brangus and All Breeds Sales. Additional sales can be booked through your preferred agent. Clearing/dispersal sales also held. Book through your preferred agent. Well lit mustering and delivery yards. Pen selling with 140 selling pens. Buyers walkways undercover. Bobby calf complex under cover. Selling ring. Holding paddocks and yards for hire - are well fenced and watered. Four (4) agents operating. Saleyards are in close proximity to Northern Co-operative Meat Company - cattle can be walked via laneways and viaduct. Avdata truck wash - two(2) bays. NLIS scanning:
Livestock transporters - local body trucks and interstate trucks, semis and B-Doubles in attendance at all sales. Computer reports available: Comprehensive Vendor, Buyer, Agent and transport. Canteen - fully serviced and open on sale days. Hot meals as well as sandwiches, cakes etc. and light refreshments are served in a comfortable fully airconditioned/ceiling fans environment. TV also installed for your convenience. The canteen is also available for private hire for functions - liasing with the current leasee and Richmond Valley Council. Hot showers (male and female) are available Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm and until 8pm night prior to Prime sale. Effluent Disposal: All effluent is disposed of and treated on site where it is reused. Pay phone available all hours. Security system installed and regular patrols are also carried out.
